How To Get Free Domains?

I know very well that you can get free domains from different forums for signing up a site or subscribing their feed. Some of the webmasters had to do offers and sign up to different site's to get points and depending on what offers you went for it could take some time to get a domain. You can make money online by getting these free .com domains and sell them to different webmasters.

I am going to reveal some of the sites that are offering free domains without taking part in offers.

The first site is dot.tk. You can easily get yourname.tk along with 250 disposable virtual email addresses like xyz@xyz.tk. I think this is a great little extra you can get.

The dot.tk domains are not displaying ads unlike previously. The main thing is you should attract at least 25 new visitors to your domain- otherwise you'll loose it. Hope you can easily bring 25 unique visitors. If you place this link in your favorite forums signature link, the problem will be solved.

If you want to try dot.tk, just peep in and grab your dream domain. Please post comments what is your funky.tk names because I am eager to know about your make money online domain.

How to get Free .Edu and .Gov Backlinks?

Do you know you can easily get the .edu and .gov links at free of cost? Although it is a secret, it is known to most of the make money online webmasters including johnchow and problogger.

Search engines, especially Google will give you better placement if you have strong sites linking back to you. i.e. you can get descent PR in the next update.

Just now discovered the technique of finding .edu and .gov blogs and forums that will help give you the link juice you need to rank all that much better.

Just install search status plugin in your browser to find out whether the blog is a "nofollow" or not. After you install this, enable “highlight nofollow links” by right clicking the search status icon in the top left corner of your browser and then make the appropriate selection. Once this is done any links that are nofollow will be highlighted in red.

Thats all!!! Now you can easily search the blogs with .gov and .edu to find it whether it is dofollow or nofollow. In order to find the .gov and .edu blog and forums simply do a search in MSN, Yahoo, and Google with these terms “inurl:.edu+inurl:forum”, inurl:.gov+inurl:blog, inurl:.edu+inurl:forum”, and “inurl:.gov+inurl:blog”.

Once you have spotted the blog with dofollow, immediately comment on it. Beware commenting in more than five .edu and .gov blogs will lead your blog being black listed by search engines. Nowadays search engines are smarter than human beings...

In addition to this, your comments should be realistic rather than spam comments like very good post, I like your bog, etc. Even you can try to incorporate your targeted keyword in the comment.

Happy blogging!!!

Knol- a Real Threat to Wikipedia?

Three days before Google launched a new service called knol- nothing but short version of KNOWLEDGE. In knol, people can write articles on their favorite niche.

Most people don’t see Knol as a direct threat to Wikipedia. Most of the webmasters are comparing knol with wikipedia. As Google announces, this is not a real threat to wikipedia because Google stipulated few conditions.

First thing, all the pages are having "No-follow" tag. Google says Knol authors can also add New Yorker magazine cartoons to their pages and make money off ads. So Knol is considered to be a best of all.

Google encourages people to create more commanding articles on different subjects that can be indexed by its search engine and monetized with ads.

Google is encouraging people to create more authoritative content that can be indexed by its search engine and monetized with ads. Several bloggers see Knol as Google's attempt to compete with Wikipedia, while others point out the differences between the projects.

Let us see the result within a month- whether it would be a hit like ORKUT or not. So, don't wait for the last moment as this latest Google initiative to be the best source of information . even you can make money online byplacing adsense ads in your article of knol. ALL THE BEST!!!

Junkieyard.com: The Biggest Blog Contest Ever...

TopSpot Contest

Presently Junkieyard.com is conducting a huge contest. The contest has lots of prizes and so many winners. It is easy to win and needs a little luck.

The blogosphere is a huge place and I've only traversed a fraction of it in my short few years at blog's helm. But since they're awarding 25,000 ec's and over $500 in banner ad space and other blog-ish stuff, I figure it's pretty big. The contest, I mean.

So, I get 30 chances to win by posting this with a link to the contest, and 10 tickets for putting that adorable little penguin guy in my sidebar until the contest is over. (Penguins are from the South Pole, so he's way down at the bottom. Natural habitat and all.)

So, that was pretty easy. There are more ways to get tickets, but I can't remember them all. 'Cause I haven't done any of them yet. And I'm not sure I even know how to do some of them, to be real honest.

I don't even know what I'd do with 25,000 ec's. I'm still trying to figure out what an ec is, how to get them, and what to do with them when I do have them.

Online Visibility For Your Website-less Small Business

There are a myriad of ways for small, local businesses to gain greater visibility on the web. More and more potential customers turn to the web each day to find businesses and services, and the number of options available to small business owners is also growing rapidly. For the web-savvy business owner, the path to greater online sales is complicated, but manageable-- it just takes a lot of time to keep up. But what about the millions of business owners that, say, do not even have a website? For this group, there are still many (free) options to help connect with online customers. This article highlights a few of the best options available.

If your business does not have a website, many of the standard tips and techniques do not apply. However, there are a number of websites out there that can still help you dramatically increase your web visibility. The following list describes some of the ones that I recommend. (Note: they are all free, and none of these require that you have a website.)

1. Google Maps. Everyone knows that Google is the #1 place where people begin their web research. Google Maps is Google's "yellow pages" and any business can submit, or enhance, their listing for free. The benefit of doing so is that Google often places Maps business listings at the top of its search results. When someone searches Google for a product of service of your business, you will be right there at the top.

2. Yahoo Local. This site is Yahoo's equivalent to Google Maps. It gets less traffic, but gives visibility within the #2 search engine which makes it very worthwhile.

3. Manta.com. Manta contains millions of profiles of U.S. businesses, large and small. Business owners can add their own profile information for free. Simply find your business in the directory follow the instructions. Manta differentiates itself by having much more of a business-to-business flavor than the typical yellow pages.

4. Merchant Circle. This is one of many national sites that allows businesses to both add their company to the directory, and modify their listing if already in the directory. Recently, Merchant Circle business profiles have been appearing more frequently in web search results, so it makes sense to be sure yours is in the mix.

5. Local directories. There are many custom, local directories out there that can also help get your business more visible on the web. For example, if you are a business in Newark, Ohio, there is a website called www.NewarkOhioOnline.com that has a complete Newark business directory. Business owners in the Newark, Ohio area can add contact information, photos, brochures, logos and much more to their listing on the site. Not every town and city has one of these directory sites, but many do. Check out whether your town has one.

6. Facebook and MySpace. These "social networking" sites have become extraordinarily popular with businesses both due to their popularity, but also because of the great tools they provide for business owners. There are a growing number of businesses that use their highly-customizable Facebook page as their actual website.

7. Superpages. The last time I checked, business owners could add their own profile to this site for free. It isn't much, but surprisingly it tends to drive some pretty decent traffic and online contacts. This is definitely the last of the group, but worth doing nonetheless.

This is probably enough to get started. There are almost limitless ways for the motivated small business owner to grab more web visibility, and many of these options do not even require a website. If you take advantage of these seven, you can almost certainly expect to start hearing from new online customers as they find you through these websites. It should not take too long either; I'd expect you could finish these in one solid evening's work.
